This morning visit the temples of Wadi El Seboua which include the temple at El Seboua, built to honour gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis and consists of a sanctuary, court, hall and pylons. Also explore the Temple of Dakka, a Ptolemaic temple built using fragments of an older 18th Dynasty temple and dedicated to Thoth of the Sycamore Fig. The temple of Mahararqa, which once stood fifty miles to the north, is dedicated to Isis and Serapis but the decoration was never complete.
