Sawa-i-
lau
Yasawa Island is everyone’s tropical island dream
- white beaches, turquoise seas and coral reefs. A dawn
hike to an island peak offers spectacular views of the
famed Tobu Karakarawa Blue Lagoon - all that remains of
an ancient limestone cave system. The limestone composition
gives the lagoon it's famed azure colour while the jagged
peaks of Sawa-I-lau grotto stand at the lagoon’s
entrance like an ancient guardian. Enjoy a spectacular
morning at the lagoon or snorkel at the nearby reef before
an al fresco lunch on the top deck.
This afternoon offers a special visit to the local school
where the children will charm you with their smiles. And
as evening draws in, it is time for an unusual evening
of fun and entertainment. |

and Drawaqa Island
Cruise through the Navititi Channels to Drawaqa Island
offering some of the best coral reefs in Fiji. Swim, snorkel
or take the glass-bottomed boat over its fringing reefs,
or bask on the warm white sands. Enjoy a barbeque lunch
on the top deck before arriving at Yalobi Bay for more
beach activities and this evening’s spectacular
finale. Tonight experience a traditional Sevusevu welcome
ceremony, followed by an earth oven lovo feast and meke
celebration, hosted by the local village. |
