Our Europe river cruises give you the chance to see the local sights and experience
the culture of a region. These cruises cover Europe’s
major rivers, including the Rhine and Danube, Seine and Rhone,
Volga and Dnieper, as well as Venice and Andalucia.
What makes a river cruise holiday different?
River cruise ships are more intimate than ocean ships, usually with only 100-150 passengers. Everyone eats in one sitting for dinner, which tends to be more casual than many ocean cruise ships.

All cabins are outside, with windows and views over the riverside scenery. Many ships have stand-on balconies; some have full sit-on balconies.

Most of the travelling on river cruises is done during the day so that the scenery can be enjoyed from the sun deck or lounges.

River cruise ships usually moor in the centre of riverside towns - you can often walk into the town to explore the sights and sounds.
