Built in 1989, the RMS St. Helena
is a working ship carrying passengers and about 1500 tonnes
of cargo to the island of St. Helena.
The ship is comfortable and well equipped and operates
under the British flag. It has all modern conveniences including
two lounges and bars, a dining saloon, shop, library, sundeck,
small saltwater swimming pool and an exercise room.
The atmosphere is informal and relaxed on a small and frinedly
ship where you can get to know your fellow passengers. Freshly
prepared food is served from breakfast in the morning to
lunch and cakes, with a five-course dinner in the evening.
